The magnificent superyacht Twizzle, built by Royal Huisman in the Netherlands, measures a whopping 57.5 meters from tip to end. Designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon, it boasts with a plethora of sleek lines and modern shapes, and gorgeously blends the indoor and outdoor spaces together.
In addition, they have added an additional 120 tons of internal ballast for more swiftness and better stability, under the 1,780 square meters of sails, on a ketch rig. The mainmast was thus limited to 62 meters.
The challenge to design Twizzle’s interiors went to Redman Whiteley Dixon, while the decorations were taken over by Todhunter Earle Group, from London, renowned for the hotels and residences they’ve worked on. In addition, the Twizzle is absolutely green, being certified by Yacht Carbon Offset to eject the same level of carbon emissions, tone for tone, with equivalent, green energy-saving vessels.
In an interesting manner, the forward salon doubles as a theater lounge, as well as an informal dining area. The stewardesses are aided by a small camera in making sure the tables of the guests are always busy. A glass cockpit can be found on the half-raised bridge deck, for the ultimate in navigation and sailing. The main deck lounge is extremely light and open, at the same time being covered by a superb platform. It offers an intimate yet airy atmosphere for guests and, why not, the owner, to sit in.
Having been constructed for some owners with knowhow in yachting business, who previously owned the 55 meter Drizzle, built by Feadship, Twizzle’s interior design is strikingly similar to the Drizzle. Dubois Naval Architects have managed to reduce the wetted surface and to set a swing keel within a 3.8-meter draft fixed keel.
The fully customized two tier platform, at the stern of the ship, aft, can be custom, electronically-positioned at different heights, depending on what the sea has in store for the sailors. The unique feature of the platform is that there’s absolutely no cylinder, cable or hinge in sight, allowing for unobtrusive views towards the surrounding landscapes.Everyone aboard can enjoy pleasant lounging on the aft deck, with sliding glass doors that can be effortlessly opened or closed, ensuring great comfort and a superb al fresco sentiments. Going towards the starboard lobby, down an elegant stairway, guests can admire the superbly lit lower deck lobby.
The accommodation facilities are simply characterized by the word “extraordinary”. First hand, exquisite textiles on the walls, garnished with distinctive patterns, deck the three guest cabins, which provide ultimate comfort for up to 8 guests, the owner’s cabin included. Two double guest cabins feature mirroring layouts, and, along with the third twin cabin, are all located close to the captain’s quarters. The owner’s cabin on the other hand provides a stunning private experience. Going through a private hallway, one can reach a sunken aft cockpit, reduced in size, but private and extremely comfortable.

I would love to go to the Cannes Film Festival, but it would definitely still be a wonderful vacation spot during other times of the year, with far fewer people, but still able to see the beauty of the Youcharter direct.
